Kanu

Named after a mythical bird of promise, Kanu is a boutique producer of wines made from grapes sourced throughout the Western Cape. In the short time that the wine farm has been producing, their wines have gone on to win numerous awards and accolades.

Wines produced include Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinotage, Shiraz, Cap Classique, and selected blends.

Bookings for a Kanu wine tasting are essential, with wine sales available from the tasting room or farm. The farm’s Du Vin restaurant offers a modern Asian-fusion menu paired with the farm’s wines. Kanu is available for events and offers packages for weddings, baby showers, corporate functions, kitchen teas, and year-end functions. Operating hours are Wednesdays to Fridays, 10am to 6.30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, from 9am to 4pm. Breakfast is served until 11am.
