Alto
Alto Wine Estate is situated on the northern slopes of the Helderberg, and dates to 1693. It was given over entirely to vineyards in 1919.

Under the guidance of a family legacy of winemakers, Alto Wine Estate is known for its iconic red blend Alto Rouge, which was first crafted in 1922 and continues to be produced to this day.
Wines produced include Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and select blends.
Alto offers dining at its restaurant, as well as wine tasting, with a range of food-and-wine pairings. Platters are available to order. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, and the tasting room is open Tuesday to Sunday.
