Mooiplaas Wine Estate & Private Nature Reserve is a historical and traditional working farm that takes an environmentally friendly approach to producing its grapes.

Situated on the slopes of the Botteleray Hills, Mooiplaas covers an area of 243 hectares, with 100 hectares under vine and 70 dedicated to the farm’s private nature reserve. Wines are produced using wild yeast, natural fermentation, light filtration, and maturation in small oak barrels.
Wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinotage, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Rosé, and Duel MCC, as well as selected blends.
Visitors may enjoy tastings at the tasting room, and self-catering accommodation is offered in the Mooiplaas manor house, with access to activities such as hiking and mountain biking. Gourmet picnics and cheese platters may be ordered for enjoyment in the garden.
