With the second-oldest surviving vineyard of Chenin Blanc, Kaapzicht also has many decades of winemaking to back up its name, along with its award-winning wines. It is a passionate, family-run endeavour that has produced several generations of winemakers.
Visitors can enjoy a guided wine tasting or simply relax over a bottle or two with a cheese or cheese and charcuterie platter. Several wine tasting options are offered, with the tasting room open from Monday to Saturday.
Wines produced include Pinotage Rosé, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Cinsaut, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Cabernet Franc, and assorted blends. A Cape brandy is also on offer.
