The Coertze family has been invested in Meerendal since 2004, and the estate is the home to the city’s oldest producing vineyard – a single row of Muscat d'Alexandrie planted during the 1930s that is registered with the Old Vine Project.

Wines produced include Pinot Noir Cap Classique Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinotage Rosé, and selected blends.

The tasting room operates Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, with three dining options offered, in addition to luxury accommodation at the Meerendal Boutique Hotel. The estate is available for events, conferences, and weddings, and the property offers activities such as running, hiking, and mountain-biking trails Monday to Sunday, all year round.
