Buitenverwachting has, in recent years, been fully restored in addition to the planting of select cultivars and specialises in Sauvignon Blanc.

Wines produced include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Gewürztraminer, Rosé, Muscat de Frontignon, and Bordeaux and other blends.

Wine tasting is offered in the farm’s historical wine cellar with a terrace that overlooks the lawns. Charcuterie platters with fresh baguettes are available, as is an artisanal ale. Book online to make a reservation. Additionally, fine dining is offered at the Beyond Restaurant, from Wednesday to Sunday, with more relaxed dining at the Coffee Bloc with its take-away deli. A lifestyle gift shop carries a range of jewellery and locally produced artisan products.
