Initially part of the Myrtle Grove estate, where the first-ever commercial plantings of Pinotage were grown in 1941, Mount Rozier was purchased by the Gabb family in 2009. Thirty hectares of land on the estate are set aside for conservation of indigenous plant and animal life.
Wines produced include Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Shiraz, Merlot, and Pinot Noir.
