Arabella
Named after the Arabian horses pastured there, Arabella Wine Estate is situated on the R60 outside of Ashton and is run by father-and-son team Stephen and Jamie de Wet.

The estate’s cellar, bottling hall, and tasting room was built in 2006, and the first vintage from the cellar was produced that same year, the Arabella Shiraz 2007 going on to win a double gold at the Michelangelo International Wine Challenge.
Wines produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinotage, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Rosé, and a sparkling white.
The estate is hands on when it comes to its workers’ skills development but also supports local social and educational development. The tasting room is open Mondays to Saturdays.
