Glenwood

Established in 1984 on 52 hectares, GlenWood distributes 40% of its wines throughout southern Africa, with the balance earmarked for export to the northern hemisphere. The farm also cultivates small quantities of proteas.

Wines produced include Chardonnay, Syrah, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and selected blends.

The farm offers a nature walk or drive to its Nature’s Window tasting room that is situated on the mountain, and sushi may be preordered to enjoy with the tasting. A 90-minute tour of the vineyards and cellar is also offered. The GlenWood gourmet sushi restaurant’s opening hours are Tuesdays to Sundays, from 11am to 4pm, with last orders to be placed at 3pm. The tasting room is open Mondays to Sundays, from 11am to 4pm. Do note that times may differ on public holidays. Bookings are recommended.
