De Wet

De Wet Cellar is located 6km north of Worcester along the N1 and processes approximately 21 000 tons of grapes annually. It supplies bulk wine for producers of local brands and for companies who export bottled product and/or sell bulk product to the export market. The cellar’s wines have won numerous awards over the years.

Wines produced include Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Special Late Harvest, Muscadel, Cape Ruby, Hanepoot, Brut, selected blends, and boxed wines. Various flavours of gin are also produced, as well as assorted grape juices.

Visitors to the cellar can enjoy wine and gin tastings, as well as pairings, and harvest platters are available (bookings advised of groups larger than eight). Children’s pairings as well as play area are also offered. Do contact De Wet Cellar in advance to check availability and/or make a reservation. Operating hours are Mondays to Fridays, from 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. De Wets Cellar is closed on Sundays and public holidays. The cellar is available for functions and conferences.
