Eikenhof
Eikehof is a family-owned wine estate situated along the R45 west of Franschhoek village. It is named for the oak trees that grow on the farm.

The fourth generation of the Malherbe family is now making wine at Eikehof, which the family has owned since 1903. Six varietals are grown on the 23ha of land, and the estate boasts the oldest block of Semillon bush vine in the country, dating to 1902.
Wines produced include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé, Semillon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Cape Ruby.
Visitors can enjoy tastings and a variety of platters, and the tasting room is open Mondays to Sundays, during regular business hours (10am to 4pm). Eikehof is part of the Blue Line of the Franschhoek Wine Tram.
